Eldorado
- at Santa Fe is a covenant controlled community located about 15 minutes
south of downtown Santa Fe. Began in the 1970's, it is part of the Santa
Fe, New Mexico Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 5,799
at the 2000 census. The community is characterized by large lots (1
acre minimum, with 1-2 acres being the average), wide open views (streetlights
only in the small commercial district), and an accredited elementary
school.
