The Southeast Side
- of Santa Fe lies east of St. Francis and generally
south of Alameda within the City limits. This includes South Capitol,
with Canyon Road and the Guadalupe/Railyard
district, as well as the St. John's College area, which includes
Wilderness Gate, with hiking and biking trails just steps away. Because
these areas are close to downtown and offer walking distance to so
many amenities, they tend to be some of the most expensive properties
in the City. In the Museum
District and further on down Old Santa Fe Trail and Old Pecos
Trail, lot sizes vary from about 1/2 acre to more than five. Homes
range from properties nestled in the foothills to Subdivisions of
note which include: Sol y Lomas, De Vargas Heights, as well as Quail
Run Condominiums.
